Why CryptoSumo is different

Directories list everything.
We list what's worth using.

  • Human-reviewed, not scraped. Every listing is researched and written by a person, with pros, cons and quick facts you can compare.
  • No pay-to-list. Ever. You can't buy a spot, a star or a 'Sumo Pick'. Rankings follow our editorial criteria — see the full policy.
  • Security first. Every wallet page has a security note. Dead projects get delisted. Scam patterns get their own guide.
  • Fast, private, no trackers. Static HTML, no cookies, no analytics spyware. Loads in milliseconds on a bad connection.

The golden rules

Three sentences that beat every course

  1. 1.

Not your keys, not your coins. Anything you hold long-term belongs in self-custody, not on an exchange.

  2. 2.

Your seed phrase is your money. Write it down, store it offline, tell no one. No exception has ever existed.

  3. 3.

Verify on-chain, then trust. Check explorers, audits and real usage before believing any claim — including ours.

Frequently asked questions

Is CryptoSumo free to use?
Completely. No accounts, no paywalls, no email walls. We may earn affiliate commissions from some outbound links (clearly disclosed) — it never affects what we list or how we rank it.
How do you choose what to list?
Human review against our editorial criteria: real users, real usage, security track record and transparency. We reject most submissions, and we delist projects that die or turn predatory. Full details in the editorial policy.
Can you help me choose a wallet?
That's exactly what the site is for — start with the wallet guide, then compare quick facts in the wallets directory. If you're stuck, the contact page is open.
Do you list scam projects to warn people?
We don't list scams at all — listing them gives them legitimacy. Instead we teach the red flags in the scam guide and point to tools like Chainabuse for checking addresses.
How often is the directory updated?
Continuously — listings carry a fact-checked date, and details are re-verified on a rolling schedule. If you spot something stale, tell us.

Don't be the next headline

90% of crypto losses are avoidable.
